We are currently working with a regional Fintech scaleup to seek a Regional Head of Finance to be part of their team here in Singapore.

The Head of Finance will lead the firm’s finance and accounting organisation, overseeing Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Internal Audit, and Tax. This is a hands‑on executive leadership role requiring both strategic oversight and operational depth. The position reports directly to the CEO and COO and manages a regional finance team of 40+ across several countries.
The role also partners closely with business units—including Corporate Development, Finance Operations, Sales, and Engineering—to drive automation, cost efficiency, and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and scale the Finance organisation across multiple markets, ensuring effective financial operations and compliance.
  • Oversee audits, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Drive finance automation initiatives, focusing on reconciliation, reporting accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Strengthen cash flow, working capital, and FP&A functions.
  • Partner with leadership to shape financial strategy and support new market entries.
  • Collaborate on M&A activities, fundraising
  • Oversee treasury, liquidity management, and financial controls.
Qualifications
  • 7–10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with 3–5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or Master’s preferred.
  • Proven experience scaling finance teams during periods of high growth.
  • Regional exposure within Southeast Asia; US or multinational experience advantageous.
  • Background in fintech, payments, or technology industries.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and automation mindset.
  • Track record in capital management, M&A, or fundraising is a plus.
