foodpanda in Singapore seeks an experienced Category Manager to lead commercial strategies for Fresh Categories. You will drive vendor partnerships, negotiate terms, and oversee platform implementation to strengthen pricing, assortment and visibility.

The role requires strong analytical skills, a track record in category management, and the ability to collaborate across Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance teams in a fast-paced market.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in commercial, sourcing, or category management.
• Proven track record in e-commerce/supermarket/grocery is a plus.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
• Creative thinking with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, define and implement commercial strategies for Fresh Categories.
• Strategise category directions, vendor management, and terms.
• Oversee implementation of strategies on the platform.
• Strengthen portfolio with competitive assortment, pricing and visibility.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Campaigns, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
• Build deep understanding of suppliers, customers and market drivers.
• Develop strategic sourcing for product assortment.
• Evaluate products and suppliers including negotiations and reviews.
• Identify opportunities for product optimization, cost reduction and margin improvement.
• Translate market knowledge into actionable opportunities and plans.
• Support commercial requirements and monitor KPIs and forecasts.
