Our client is a Legal Industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Regional Finance Manager to join their team,Procurement Assistan in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Accounting, Reporting, Payroll, and Accounts Payable teams, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of all financial outputs.
- Act as the key liaison with auditors and oversee statutory audits and annual financial statements preparation in accordance with local accounting standards (SGP GAAP).
- Maintain a comprehensive compliance calendar for all regulatory filings and statutory obligations.
- Ensure effective internal controls, conduct periodic reviews, and drive process improvements to strengthen governance.
- Oversee tax, VAT/GST, and other statutory requirements in collaboration with the regional Tax and Treasury teams.
- Partner with business managers to provide financial insights and resolve accounting issues.
- Drive month-end closing and balance sheet reviews, ensuring reconciliations and reporting are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and funding arrangements.
- Manage relationships with banks and external financial partners; act as system administrator for e-banking platforms.
- Provide guidance on pension accounting and other employee benefit schemes.
- Develop and implement management reporting frameworks to support business decisions.
- Consolidate budgets, analyze financial variances, and provide performance insights to senior management.
- Deliver accurate forecasts and financial models to support strategic planning and business initiatives.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams on budgeting, reporting, and system enhancements.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- Minimum 8–10 years of finance leadership experience, ideally in a multinational or professional services environment (experience in a law firm is an advantage).
- Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards (SGP GAAP) and local regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in Excel and financial systems; experience in ERP implementation or process automation is a plus.
