Tasks and accountabilities

The Regional Finance Director will lead and develop a high performing finance team responsible for cost control and cash flow performance. This role will head up the regional Finance function, leading a team across accounting, FP&A, tax with focus on commercial finance support.

• Improve functional processes and outputs, enhance existing operational processes, systems, and procedures to ensure efficiency improvements are realized.
• Oversight and govern business reporting & planning processes ensuring strong financial controls over expenditure, reporting and cash management.
• Oversight of financing activities including covenant monitoring and compliance and new project finance issuance.
• Liaison with Corporate Tax Department regarding the execution of tax strategy and tax compliance activities at asset-level operations groups.
• Actively involved in process enhancement projects to implement lean Accounting methodologies and overall efficiencies of the finance processes.
• Key accountable person for all internal and external audit reviews and be responsible for internal controls relating to all areas of business.
• Ensure Tax & Regulatory compliance.

Competencies

The successful candidate will be a leader with:

• Extensive Finance experience in required fields, ideally in fashion or lifestyle, and preferably different international markets.
• Prior experience starting out in Big 4 / accounting roles will be a plus.
• Experience and ability to craft a robust, sustainable and cost efficient strategy and implementation.
• Proven track record in partnering commercial teams and leading cross regional finance teams to drive growth and expansion.
• Ability to partner with both global and country management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex financial information to various stakeholders.
