Tasks and accountabilities
The Regional Finance Director will lead and develop a high performing finance team responsible for cost control and cash flow performance. This role will head up the regional Finance function, leading a team across accounting, FP&A, tax with focus on commercial finance support.
- Improve functional processes and outputs, enhance existing operational processes, systems, and procedures to ensure efficiency improvements are realized.
- Oversight and govern business reporting & planning processes ensuring strong financial controls over expenditure, reporting and cash management.
- Oversight of financing activities including covenant monitoring and compliance and new project finance issuance.
- Liaison with Corporate Tax Department regarding the execution of tax strategy and tax compliance activities at asset-level operations groups.
- Actively involved in process enhancement projects to implement lean Accounting methodologies and overall efficiencies of the finance processes.
- Key accountable person for all internal and external audit reviews and be responsible for internal controls relating to all areas of business.
- Ensure Tax & Regulatory compliance.
Competencies
The successful candidate will be a leader with:
- Extensive Finance experience in required fields, ideally in fashion or lifestyle, and preferably different international markets.
- Prior experience starting out in Big 4 / accounting roles will be a plus.
- Experience and ability to craft a robust, sustainable and cost efficient strategy and implementation.
- Proven track record in partnering commercial teams and leading cross regional finance teams to drive growth and expansion.
- Ability to partner with both global and country management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex financial information to various stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Master/Degree in Finance & Accounting
- Licenses or certifications required by the position - TBC
Work experience
- 7+ years of international FIN management experience
Language Skills and related level
- Fluent English – any additional language is a plus
