Job summary

You will define and execute business development for civil and geotechnical projects while building relationships with developers and government agencies.   • Regional Director to lead regional strategy, growth, and high-value client engagement.
  • This senior leadership role (one level below ExCom) reports directly to the Regional Managing Director and plays a pivotal part in shaping the business strategy, driving market expansion, and representing the company at the highest levels.
About the Role
  • Strategic Director to drive regional business development and strategic growth in regional projects.
  • Offer technical expertise in client engagements while supporting proposals and bids, ensuring the company’s credibility and authority in all technical discussions.
Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the regional business strategy in alignment with company objectives.
  • Lead business development, bid/tender strategy, and client engagement for high‑value projects across civil, marine, and reclamation sectors.
  • Act as the primary client interface, building strategic relationships with developers, government agencies, and contractors.
  • Provide technical insight and guidance to support project proposals, feasibility studies, and contract negotiations.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Represent the company at industry forums, conferences, and key stakeholder meetings.
  • Support the MD and ExCom with reports, KPIs, and strategic recommendations for regional growth.
Requirements
  • Degree or Master’s in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering; professional certification preferred (PE, CEng, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in civil or geotechnical engineering, including strategic business development and senior client engagement.
  • Strong understanding of Civil, Geotechnical, offshore, marine, or reclamation projects to maintain credibility in technical discussions.
  • Commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills for high‑value bids and contracts.
  • Willingness to travel regionally as required.
