Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Critical Account Manager to lead key accounts across the region. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, strengthen client partnerships, and achieve ambitious sales targets in the metals and advanced manufacturing sector.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new application opportunities for the company’s products and solutions, leveraging personal networks and market insights to expand the customer base and achieve annual sales targets.
- Drive business development initiatives, establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients across the region.
- Utilize industry connections, particularly within upstream and downstream partners (including in China), to generate new business opportunities and accelerate sales.
- Manage key client relationships, uncover additional needs, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth project execution and effective issue resolution.
- Work closely with internal departments to align on project progress, ensure timely delivery, and support customer success.
Technical Understanding
- Manufacturing processes: Metals used in electronics, electrical components, and precision equipment require understanding of conductivity, resistivity and other material properties. Electrical Engineering graduates are likely familiar with these concepts.
- Product applications: Knowledge of how metals are applied in wiring, circuit boards, connectors, semiconductors, and sputtering targets is valuable for client discussions and solution delivery.
Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills
- Analytical thinking and process optimization to address client challenges.
- Technical problem-solving to coordinate effectively with internal engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Engineering (including Electrical Engineering), Materials Science, Metallurgy, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in key account management, business development, and sales within the manufacturing or metals industry, preferably involving basic, precious, or non-ferrous metals.
- Strong understanding of the metal manufacturing value chain, with established relationships across industry stakeholders.
- Possesses abundant industry client resources and can directly bring in clients.
- Has strong market judgment and keen business acumen.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and coordination skills, strong work drive, and a high degree of self-motivation; able to seek win‑win solutions with limited resources and motivate relevant personnel to achieve goals.
- Flexible to travel regionally as required to support client and business needs.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to effectively communicate with China-based clients, suppliers, and partners.
