Job Description

We are seeking a strategic Regional Commercial Finance Senior Manager to join the Publicis Media APAC Commercial team. This role partners with regional and global stakeholders to design and scale innovative commercial strategies, drive value creation through smarter pricing and differentiated solutions, and embed consistent commercial practices across APAC markets.

Key Responsibilities

New business

  • Support the delivery of compelling, innovative and integrated commercial proposals for new business opportunities that will resonate with clients and provide a long term commercially viable model for Publicis Media.
  • Be familiar with Publicis Media capabilities, proprietary tools, platform solutions and other value-based services to identify opportunties and support the development of new commercial models that align with Publicis strategic priorities for new and existing clients.
  • Proactively explore and advocate for sustainable, future-facing revenue models that differentiate Publicis Media in the market.

Commercial

  • Support APAC business and finance teams on commercial requests for regional and global clients, including but not limited to fee discussions, revenue reporting, commercial queries, client contract compliance/ financial audits, and coordinate requests from global and region on finance operation and client reporting matters.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including global client leads, finance teams business teams, global teams, legal and tax teams where applicable/ necessary to provide complete, accurate and timely deliverables, including the review and agreement of Media Service Agreements (MSAs).
  • Collaborate with senior businesss stakeholders to ensure commercial pricing strategies reflect both client and agency needs. Establish a collective responsibility across key markets for our commercial approach
  • Participate in discussions with clients and maintain relationship on a regular basis.
  • Align commercial strategies with media planning and buying practices while exploring future-facing revenue models. Seek out and drive commercial opportunities for proprietary solutions and products
  • Handle ad hoc commercial requests from global and regional teams, clients, and other busines stakeholders. Consolidate and review local market submissions to ensure compliance and consistency across markets.
  • Support global and regional commercial workstreams/ initiatives.
Qualifications
  • A minimum 8 - 9 years of regional experience in commercial finance/ remuneration pricing strategy, media agency operations, consulting, or a similar background;
  • Experience with commercial modelling or pricing tools in developing client-facing proposals or pitch support on platform/ data solutions commercialisation is preferred;
  • Strong understanding of media business models, data tech, and/or marketing services environment will be an advantage;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
  • Knowledge of commercial contracts terms and fee propositions are essential.
