THE ROLE
Regional Commercial Director is a senior leadership position reporting directly to the Regional Managing Director. The role focuses on driving commercial performance across the region. As a leader and trusted adviser to the business, you will provide senior sponsorship for strategic deals and lead initiatives that impact key top‑line metrics, including recurring revenue (ARR), cash collection / DSOs, and gross margin. This is a high‑visibility role that has tangible impact on regional performance and success – it is both strategic and hands‑on, requiring strong leadership, collaboration, and commercial acumen. Success in the role will depend heavily on strong drive and high energy with the ability to lead by example and work well as part of a team, with strong cross‑functional collaboration working with Sales, Marketing, Delivery, Support and Partners.

Strategic Leadership & Representation
- You will partner with the Regional Managing Director to drive performance across ARR, cash collection, and gross margin
- You will represent the Regional Managing Director in internal meetings and external engagements with clients, prospects, and partners
Revenue & Pipeline
- You will spearhead initiatives to grow recurring revenues, including maintenance and SaaS streams
- You will lead the development of a strong sales pipeline, focusing on high‑impact opportunities and whitespace growth
- You will coordinate with finance and operations to optimize cash collection processes and margin performance
Sales
- You will bring senior sponsorship and commercial expertise to key SaaS and maintenance deals to accelerate closure.
- You will guide sales teams on deal strategy, risk management, and value‑based selling.
- You will drive adoption of best‑practice sales methodologies across the region.
Partnerships & Collaboration
- You will work closely with marketing, delivery, support, and partners to scale regional initiatives.
- You will launch and manage special projects to unlock new commercial opportunities.
SKILLS
Proven Leadership
- You should have 10+ years of senior commercial leadership experience within enterprise software, fintech, or banking technology
- You should have a strong track record of driving revenue, pipeline growth, and profitability
Recurring Revenue Expertise
- You should have experience growing maintenance and SaaS revenue streams, with a focus on optimizing cash collection and margin performance
Commercial Acumen for SaaS
- You should have deep understanding of SaaS deal structures, risk governance, and value‑based selling to support complex, high‑value deals
