We are seeking a Reference Data Management Specialist to join a Global Bank. This team manages reference data for the APAC geography, including account-level data and standing settlement instructions to support trade processing and settlement. The role involves driving technical and non-technical improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage reference data requirements for APAC Global Markets with accuracy and efficiency.
- Drive automation initiatives and process improvements across operations.
- Oversee offshore teams handling daily reference data requests and maintain key controls.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement new processes and resolve escalations.
- and execute strategies for technology-driven enhancements and standardize change management.
- Maintain inventory of automation funding requests and manage delivery of ongoing changes.
- Use data and metrics to identify opportunities for streamlining and automating reporting.
- Continuously improve workflows, reporting processes, and operational effectiveness.
- Communicate updates clearly and manage stakeholder expectations throughout project lifecycles.
Minimum Requirements
- Strong program/project management skills: resource planning, risk/issue management, testing, training, and implementation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Understanding of market products.
- Ability to manage and query data (SQL, Excel) and expertise in management reporting (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity.
- Risk management awareness and commitment to excellence. High integrity and sound judgment.
