Job summary

A specialized recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for a Refrigeration Technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration systems and will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently are key qualifications sought. A Class 3 License is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Relevant certifications or vocational training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems, including refrigerators, and some others prism products.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, including mechanical, electrical, and refrigerantrelated problems.
• Repair or replace faulty components, such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, and fans.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
• Conduct system tests to verify performance, temperature control, and refrigerant levels.
• Calibrate temperature controls, thermostats, and pressure switches as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Adhere to relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards for handling refrigerants and electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Stay updated with advancements in refrigeration technology, industry trends, and best practices.
• Collaborate with team members and contractors to complete projects and assignments.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior/or managery.
