Overview

The Recruitment Consultant (Contract Staffing) manages high-volume hiring for contract and temporary roles while driving business development efforts. This role focuses on client acquisition, account servicing, candidate sourcing, and ensuring timely deployment of contract staff. A strong sales mindset, fast execution, and excellent relationship-building skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in key industries (e.g., logistics, admin, F&B, retail, manufacturing).
  • Conduct sales calls, client visits, and presentations to introduce staffing solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and service agreements.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets, gross profit and revenue goals.
  • Maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding contract staffing needs.
  • Understand clients’ job requirements, urgency levels, and manpower planning.
  • Provide timely updates, manpower availability, and delivery timelines.
  • Handle client issues, feedback, and contract staff performance concerns.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for temporary and contract roles.
  • Manage high-volume recruitment pipelines and quick‑turn placements.
  • Coordinate interviews, job briefings, and deployment arrangements.
  • Ensure proper onboarding, documentation, timesheet collection, and compliance.
  • Maintain candidate database and build pipelines for recurring roles.
  • Monitor contract employees’ attendance, performance, and contract renewals.
  • Handle basic HR matters such as replacements, extensions, and terminations.
  • Support payroll team with necessary information on hours, absenteeism, and changes.
  • Use websites, LinkedIn, social media, and events to find new clients and job seekers.
  • Talk to hiring managers to understand the types of people they need for their teams.
  • Handle everything from posting job ads to interviewing and helping with job offers.
  • Arrange and confirm interview times, and keep communication smooth.
  • Support the onboarding process to ensure new employees settle in smoothly.
  • Track and report on hiring progress and recruitment activities.
  • Meet KPI sales targets.
