Recruitment Consultant/Assoc Consultant with a Boutique Search Firm

  • Around 2 to 5 years of experience gained as a Recruitment Associate Consultant/ Consultant with a recruitment consultancy firm preferred

The CAP Consulting is a boutique search firm founded in 2014 and is well established in the recruitment/search industry covering the finance, PE, and commodity trading sector. It is now looking to recruit a results-driven Recruitment Consultant/ Associate consultant to join its growing team. In terms of the function/sector specialization, professionals with exposure to Finance/accounting, HR, PE investment or Commodity Trading is preferred but this is not a must.

In this role, you will work with seasoned consultants who are well-established in the search/ recruitment industry. We thrive in a flexible, fast-paced, client-centric, and results-oriented culture that focuses on delivering results to both our clients and candidates in a timely fashion. The firm offers autonomy and support for a flexible work arrangement or part-time arrangement if this is required. We also have a competitive commission/bonus scheme that is tied to the performance of the individual and the company.

There will be flexibility to work in a recruitment associate consultant role (180-degree role focusing on candidate sourcing/management only) or work in a full-fledged recruitment consultant role(360-degree role covering both candidate sourcing and client management)

Main job functions
As a 180-degree associate consultant role
  • Generate and assess candidate profiles aligned to specific client assignments via database search and searching of other key candidate portals (Linkedin, Jobstreet, etc)
  • Conduct research work on candidate pools and perform cv mining activities for some job openings(if required)
  • Place advertisements, update the database, conduct interviews (face and phone) with candidates, write candidate reports, conduct reference check
  • Conduct proactive candidate management
  • Arrange interviews for candidates with clients.
Added responsibilities to the above for a 360-degree consultant role
  • Conduct active business development activities including meeting up with new clients and working in partnership with existing clients. This can include client meetings/ networking/other client-facing responsibilities
  • Attend client meetings and assignment briefs, and work closely with clients to understand their search/recruitment requirements
  • Perform a business partnering or advisory role with clients.

Requirements
  • Degree qualified. Around 2 to 5 years of experience gained as a Recruitment Associate Consultant/ Consultant with a recruitment consultancy firm preferred.
  • Recruitment/ resourcing experience covering finance, HR , PE investment or commodity trading is preferred but this is not a must.
  • Has a customer-focused mind-set. Very independent, self-driven, with a great sense of ownership.
  • Has excellent time management and multi-tasking skills. Adapt well to a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Disciplined, professional and results-focused
  • Highly resourceful, tenacious, and resilient go-getter with a positive and can-do type of attitude
  • Has good EQ/ people skills coupled with strong communication (oral and written) skills.
