The Recruitment Consultant (Contract Staffing) manages the hiring for contract and temporary roles while driving business development efforts. This role focuses on account servicing, candidate sourcing, and ensuring timely deployment of contract staff
Job Responsibilities
Account Management
- Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding contract staffing needs.
- Provide timely updates, manpower availability, and delivery timelines.
- Handle client issues, feedback, and contract staff performance concerns.
Recruitment & Deployment (Contract Staffing)
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for temporary and contract roles.
- Manage high-volume recruitment pipelines and quick turnaround placements.
- Coordinate interviews, job briefings, and deployment arrangements.
- Ensure proper onboarding, documentation, timesheet collection, and compliance.
- Maintain candidate database and build pipelines for recurring roles.
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment process, including work pass applications, renewals, cancellations, appeals, etc.
Contract Staff Management
- Monitor contract employees' attendance, performance, and contract renewals.
- Handle basic HR matters such as replacements, extensions, and terminations.
- Support payroll team with necessary information on hours, absenteeism, and exceptions.
- Handle employees’ enquiries and feedback.
HR & Administration Support
- Prepare HR Letters (i.e. Disciplinary, Contracts, Confirmation, Extension of Probation, Promotion, etc.).
- Maintain accuracy of HR database, timely update & processing of employee records in HR system.
- Ensure all documentations are properly filed (i.e. P-Files, E-P Files).
- Validate and prepare biometrics report for billing.
- Assist in claims submission, government grants, insurance, etc.
- Any other HR/Admin duties assigned.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 year of experience in recruitment, contract/temp staffing or manpower outsourcing preferred.
- CEI Certification (Singapore) is mandatory.
- Strong sourcing skills across platforms such as LinkedIn, MyCareersFuture, Jobstreet, Indeed, or industry networks & social media.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office.
- Positive working attitude, people-oriented, strong team player, excellent communication, and interpersonal skill.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling HR documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Meticulous and pleasant disposition.
