About the Role
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
Business Development
- Engage in proactive business development activities, encompassing both cultivating existing relationships (farming) and pursuing new partnerships (hunting).
- Drive lead generation efforts to cultivate a robust pipeline of business opportunities.
- Establishing partnerships with clients in Singapore and the Asia‑Pacific region.
- Cultivate and nurture client connections to foster long‑term partnerships.
- Negotiate and finalize Terms of Business with potential clients.
- Stay up to date and well‑informed about industry trends and market insights.
Talent Sourcing
- Identify, engage, and secure candidates aligned with specific hiring criteria.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies and candidate management processes to consistently deliver top‑tier talent.
- Leverage diverse sourcing tools and platforms to identify suitable candidates.
- Screen, qualify, and negotiate with high‑potential candidates based on organizational fit and hiring prerequisites.
- Communicate with candidates and stakeholders through various channels to facilitate engagement (telephone, email, text message, video calls, face‑to‑face, etc.).
- Foster and maintain a robust network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management.
- Arrange candidate interviews with internal and/or external stakeholders.
- Craft and disseminate targeted job advertisements to attract qualified candidates.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to comprehend hiring requisites, actively participating in relevant meetings (e.g., client briefs).
- Lead candidate sourcing initiatives to continuously improve and scale our recruiting operations and results.
Requirements
Essential
- 6 months to 2 years of experience as a 360 recruitment consultant, encompassing both business development and talent sourcing.
- Experience in technology recruitment, spanning verticals including, but not limited to:
- Software Engineering
- AI, Data Science, Data Engineering, Analytics
- Infrastructure & Cloud
- Cyber Security, Technology Risk, Compliance & Governance
- Demonstrated ability to engage confidently with senior external stakeholders for business development purposes.
- Hands‑on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and adeptness with Boolean search techniques.
- Experience with Permanent recruitment.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
Highly Desirable
- Exposure to Contracting recruitment.
- Talent sourcing exposure within Asia‑Pacific.
- Familiarity with technology recruitment across diverse industries.
- Well networked in the technology recruitment scene with clients and candidates
- Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese to engage effectively with Chinese‑speaking clients and candidates.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
