Role: Receptionist cum Administrative Assistant

Galaxy Dance Academy, a leading dance institution in Singapore, is currently seeking someone to continue the legacy of our beloved receptionist who's moving on for family reasons. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to the operational success of our academy.

Location: 9 Purvis Street, 02-01,02,03, 188588

Work Schedule: 6 days a week

  • Monday to Friday: 1:30 PM - 9:30 PM (1-hour break)
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM (1-hour break)
Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Registration: Efficiently manage appointment bookings and studio schedules.
  • Accurately record attendance and complete registration processes.
  • Studio Maintenance: Monitor and replenish necessary supplies.
  • Organize administrative operations for optimal efficiency.
  • Handle mail and deliveries responsibly.
  • Billing and Bookkeeping: Ensure precise collection and verification of payments.
  • Process and submit expense claims with proper documentation.
  • Maintain separate GST reports and ensure proper GST documentation.
  • Track GST-applicable vs non-GST transactions for accurate financial reporting.
  • Customer Service: Provide empathetic and exceptional support to customers.
  • Welcome and assist visitors professionally.
  • Maintain and update notice boards and schedules.
  • Communication Updates: Regularly update the academy’s website and social media platforms.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in administrative or support roles is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using Mac computers and basic office software (Google Sheets/Excel).
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and procedures.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
