Job summary

A local educational institution in Singapore seeks a Receptionist to manage the reception area and assist with various administrative tasks. Responsibilities include handling telephone inquiries, attending to visitors, and managing the sickbay. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of relevant experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and basic first aid skills. Work hours are Monday to Friday, with no weekend duties.

Location: near Bartley MRT
Contract Period: From 01 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026
  • Handle telephone calls
  • Manage the reception counter – attending to all students, parents and walk‑in visitors’ queries.
  • Attend to goods delivery on behalf of staff.
  • Assist in managing the sickbay by attending to unwell and providing first‑aid to students. (e.g.: open wound such as knee abrasion, cut finger, nose bleeding, fever)
  • Attend to students leaving school early.
  • Handle lost and found money and items.
  • Assist in admin duties such as data entry, laminating, etc.
  • Packing and dissemination of brochures, forms and information booklets.
  • Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of the reception area and sick bay.
  • Pack items into carton boxes for relocation to holding site in preparation for the school move.
  • Any other duties assigned when required.
Qualifications & Skills
  • (GCE N Level) or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience in reception duties and/or general administration in a school setting, preferably in primary school.
  • Proficiency in basic Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience in administering first aid to students.
  • Ability to work independently
Working Hours
  • Mondays to Thursdays: 6:30am to 3.30pm, inclusive of 45 minutes lunch break.
  • Fridays: 6:30am to 3:00pm, inclusive of 45 minutes lunch break.
  • Lunch break is from 12.30pm to 1.15pm.
  • Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
