Parameta Solutions, the Data & Analytics division of TP ICAP Group, is seeking a Market Data Engineer to manage and optimize real-time market data systems. You will work with exchanges and vendors to ensure data distribution, low latency, and high throughput across platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in market data support/engineering or data infrastructure.
• Experience with market data platforms like RTDS, Bloomberg, or direct feed providers.
• Proficient in Python, Bash, and Linux scripting.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of real-time market data and monitor data quality.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support market data needs across units.
• Integrate, normalize, and distribute market data from multiple sources.
• Optimize data pipelines for low latency and high throughput.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain data feeds to vendors and exchanges.
• Automate ingestion, processing, and monitoring with scripts and code.
• Ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.
• Document data sources, architecture, and processes.
• Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning for data apps.
• Be prepared to work weekends or holidays as needed.
