Job summary

A leading sports retailer in Singapore is seeking a Real Estate & Commercial Legal Counsel for a 6-month maternity cover. The ideal candidate will have mandatory commercial leasing experience and strong negotiation skills. Responsibilities include leading negotiations on real estate projects, drafting contracts, and providing legal support to the Expansion Team. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Law and at least 2 years of relevant PQE experience. A passion for sports is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Min. 2 years experience (2 PQE) is a must, preferably from a Commonwealth jurisdiction.
• Law firm experience from a reputable corporate real estate practice is required.
• In-house experience in the Real estate sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations in real estate projects independently.
• Draft and review real estate contracts and documents.
• Provide legal support to the Expansion Team.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks in all transactions.
• Advise stakeholders on legal and compliance matters.
