Job summary

BACHY SOLETANCHE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to oversee RC works for tunnelling, including base slabs, walls, linings and shafts on Singapore projects.

The role requires 2–5 years in RC works, strong knowledge of concrete technology, formwork and reinforcement detailing, and the ability to read drawings and specifications. Islandwide site work with a 5.5 day week (alternate Saturdays) may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of relevant RC works experience.
• Strong ability to interpret structural drawings and specifications.
• Familiar with RFIs and inspection checklists is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee RC works for tunnelling, including casting base slabs, tunnel walls, linings and shafts.
• Plan and manage concrete casting sequencing and resource coordination.
• Prepare RFIs and manage inspection workflows with consultants and authorities.
• Coordinate site inspections for rebar, formwork and concrete works.
• Track progress and update progress curves to align with master schedule.
