Job summary

Siemens Mobility Singapore is seeking a RAMS Engineer to coordinate RAMS and System Assurance activities across rail projects in Singapore. You will manage RAMS submissions from consultants and suppliers and prepare RAMS studies and related reports, engaging with customers and project stakeholders as required.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 3–5 years' RAMS experience, with knowledge of EN standards and CBTC/PSDs. Strong communication and proactive teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–5 years’ RAMS/System Assurance experience, preferably in rail Singapore/SEA.
• Knowledge of EN50126/50129/50128/50159 standards.
• Experience with CBTC, Platform Screen Doors and/or Traction Power Systems.
• Hazard management and RAMS studies (RBD, FMEA, FMECA, FTA, FRACAS).
• Experience in managing Exported Risks/SRACs affecting design/interface/production.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-focused mindset.
• Advantageous: requirements management and validation, system lifecycle exposure, digital/AI tools in RAMS.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate RAMS and System Assurance activities across rail projects.
• Manage and review RAMS submissions from consultants and suppliers.
• Prepare RAMS studies and related engineering reports.
• Participate in RAMS discussions with customers and stakeholders.
• Act as point of contact for internal/external stakeholders.
• Support strategic and digital initiatives of the team.
• Assist in Singapore bid phase of projects.
