Job summary

ST ENGINEERING URBAN SOLUTIONS LTD. in Singapore seeks an IT professional to design, implement, and support data communication systems for Rail & Metro projects, including local and overseas deployments. Expect hands-on WAN/LAN, network design, and equipment configuration skills.

You will perform PoC, FAT, interface tests, and final system acceptance with customers, ensuring high availability and secure access controls. Relevant certs and 1–5 years' experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in IT/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
CCNA/CCNP or HCIA/HCIP or equivalent certifications preferred.
1–5 years' experience with WAN/LAN technologies (IP-MPLS, OSPF etc).
Experience with Cisco/Alcatel-Lucent/Extreme/Huawei devices and network gear.
Good communication, teamwork, and self-directed work style.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, test and commission data communication systems for Rail & Metro projects.
Conduct PoC, FAT and interface system integration tests prior to onsite work.
Perform system acceptance tests with customers after implementation.
Ensure high system availability and secure network access controls.
Coordinate with vendors and schedule deliveries to meet project timelines.
