Work location: West

Work hours: 5.5 days work week, 8.00am to 4.30pm.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform general radiographic examinations and/or specialist imaging procedures (e.g., mammography, ultrasound, Bone Mineral Densitometry) in accordance with professional protocols.

  • Ensure patient safety, comfort and dignity throughout all procedures.

  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment; comply with radiation safety and infection‑control requirements.

  • Operate and report maintenance needs for imaging equipment to ensure proper functioning.

  • Support departmental administration and participate in quality improvement projects and other ad‑hoc activities as assigned by the Lead Radiographer.

  • Apply the ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principle to minimize radiation exposure.

  • Carry out routine housekeeping tasks for the assigned diagnostic area to preserve a professional clinical environment.

  • Provide prompt, courteous and professional service to patients, clinicians and other stakeholders.

  • Contribute to efficient day‑to‑day operations within the imaging unit.

  • Assist senior radiography staff with routine quality‑control checks and related documentation.


Key Requirements:


  • AHPC certified with professional license: R1 license with Centre for Radiation Protection and Nuclear Sciences, National Environment Agency.

  • Recognised degree in Diagnostic Radiography.

  • Min 2‑3 years experience as a Radiographer. Mammography and ultrasound experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of NGEMR, Epic usage and RISPACS would be an additional advantage.

  • Service orientated and customer focused. Have a compassionate, caring and friendly attitude.
