Job summary

CAREERALLY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Radio Frequency Engineer in Singapore East area for a permanent role.

You will conduct RF planning, site surveys, and drive tests for TETRA and 4G networks, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in RF planning/optimization, strong LTE/RAN knowledge, and familiarity with RF tools. A Diploma/degree in telecommunications or electronics is required, with 5-day work week and a salary up to SGD 6,000 plus

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in telecommunications, electronics or related.
• Minimum 2 years of RF planning & optimization experience in LTE networks.
• Strong understanding of network planning fundamentals, RAN and antenna systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site selection, survey, planning and link budget for TETRA and 4G networks.
• Perform drive tests, post-processing and analyze test data to resolve issues.
• Analyze network statistics and optimize RF for Tetra and 4G sites.
• Attend customer complaints and ensure timely ticket closure.
• Design in-building systems and perform coverage tests.
• Coordinate with contractors, customers, owners and project teams; attend meetings.
• Perform proof of concept and trials for technologies.

Radio Frequency Engineer (up to 6K/ RF/ East/ Permanent Role)

Location: East Area

5 Days work week

Permanent Role

Salary: up to $6,000 + Variable Bonus

Responsibility:

• Conduct site selection and survey, site planning, radio network planning, RF planning, capacity planning, link budget and acceptance test for TETRA and 4G network.
• Perform drive test, post-processing, analysis the drive test data, identify and resolve any issues.
• Analyse network statistic and perform RF optimization for Tetra and 4G sites and performance monitoring.
• Attend customer complaints, identify and resolve issues, and ensure that complaint tickets are closed promptly.
• Design the inbuilding system, conduct coverage tests, analyze the test data, and resolve any identified issues.
• Familiar with RF planning and testing tools such as Atoll, Nemo Handy, Nemo Analyzer, Google Earth, MapInfo Professional etc.
• Possess experience with 4G mobile networks and knowledge of RAN and Core components.
• Coordinate with contractors, customers, building owners, and other stakeholders; attend internal and external meetings with project managers, RF managers, vendors, and contractors.
• Perform Proof of Concept and Trial for any technologies.
• Reporting to the RF manager and perform all assistant tasks delegated by Supervisor.

Requirement:

• Min Diploma / Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics or related.
• Minimum 2 years of RF planning & optimization experience in LTE mobile network deployment.
• Strong understanding of network planning fundamentals, radio access technologies, and antenna systems.
• Experience in multi-vendor wireless equipment operation and network optimization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Acrobat, and similar tools.
• Familiarity with Linux, SIP, Unix, and AWS Cloud is a plus.
• A valid Class 3 driving license is required.
