Job summary

Details of the Division and Team:

The Institutional Client Group (ICG) is a global sales team covering various institutional clients including Hedge Funds, Insurance companies, Asset Managers, Banks, Central Banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Private Banks. In APAC, we have salespeople located across the regional hubs in Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney as well as in countries across Asia covering local markets. As a key member of the FX team, you will drive the growth of HausFX, our innovative FX platform distributing automated solutions, algos, eFX, FX overlay, payments, etc. This role combines deep product expertise with strong client engagement skills to deliver tailored solutions across a diverse client base. You will be instrumental in originating opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, and shaping the future of our FX-as-a-Service offering.

Your key responsibilities:
  • Originate HausFX opportunities across Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Banks and NBFIs, including identifying new target prospects. The hire would cover clients either directly / in partnership with sales leads.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in HausFX products, collaborating with FX Sales, GEM Sales, and the wider FIC Franchise to develop existing relationships and close deals.
  • Manage the sales pipeline efficiently, ensuring accurate tracking of targets, prospects, leads, pitches, and revenue reporting.
  • Support clients through onboarding and go-live processes, guiding them from solution adoption to maturity.
  • Build a white-label Algo franchise (including NDF) in partnership with ICG Sales and Trading.
  • Represent the business at conferences, client round tables, and industry events to showcase capabilities and identify future product needs.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Bank Transaction FX (TFX), Securities Services (SeS) Sales, Institutional Cash Management (ICM), and Corporate Coverage on custodial and payment-linked FX opportunities.
  • Alpha, originator skill set to mine and monetize new opportunities
Your skills and experience:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience working in a Tier 1 Financial Institution with track record of building a business & developing and fostering FX business/relationships
  • Existing relationships with Asian Institutional clients primarily Banks, Asset Managers and Asset Owners
  • Strong understanding of FX markets, products, and client needs. Good local market knowledge + understanding of macroeconomic developments
  • Entrepreneurial skills & alpha / originator skillset with a focus on innovation and product development.
  • Comfortable in a dynamic and fast paced environment + demonstrating the ability to navigate complex organizations
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to interact with and drive regional/global teams
