Job description
Responsibilities
  • Perform assigned manufacturing tasks to produce high quality Medical device products under limited supervision and instruction.
  • Perform troubleshooting on components, sub‑assembly, and full assembly systems by using mechanical and electrical knowledge when issues arise.
  • Perform assembly and testing activities in accordance with the established work standards, test procedures and work schedule.
  • Work with supervisor and assist engineers to execute controlled experiments for feasibility study.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Execute moderately complex assignment by assisting Engineers to troubleshoot and assisting Supervisor for report data collection and provide independent judgment.
  • Support 5S and Lean activities.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tool.
  • Support process improvement activities to meet production goals.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • Nitec, Technical Diploma or Vocational Certified in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering with relevant experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing instruments in Life Science or Medical Devices Industry.
  • Experience in ISO13485 audit and cGMP environment.
  • Experience in execution equipment installation IQ/OQ.
  • Experience in soldering electrical components.
  • Knowledge in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Meticulous and attention to details with good troubleshooting ability.
  • Working location at Tampines Area.
