Job summary

A Singapore-based company is looking for a talented professional to design and formulate adhesive products and fine chemicals. This role includes conducting development and analysis, preparing documentation for projects, and providing technical support to the sales team. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and has at least 1 year of relevant experience. Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential, along with effective communication skills.

• Experience in the adhesive, paint, or chemical industry is an advantage.

Job description

Location

• Tuas (Transport pickup available at Clementi, Jurong East, Choa Chu Kang, Boon Lay Jurong Point)

Responsibilities

• Design and formulate adhesive products, as well as synthesize fine chemicals and specialty chemicals.
• Conduct adhesive analysis, development, and inspection.
• Prepare documentation and samples for projects and customer needs.
• Provide technical support to the Sales Department.
• Perform calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Maintain work procedure documentation in compliance with ISO standards.
• Undertake other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the adhesive, paint, or chemical industry is an advantage.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
