We invite enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as:
Conduct research in cutting-edge AI technologies for audio/video quality and compression.
Build reproducible ML training/evaluation pipelines and run rigorous objective and perceptual assessments.
Represent Panasonic in standardization activities and industry forums; network with peers to build consensus and identify collaboration opportunities.
Collaborate closely with cross functional teams (research, product, IP) and global labs; build strong working relationships to align goals and timelines.
Analyze technology trends and recommend future research directions and roadmap updates.
Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Strong foundations in signal processing and applied algorithm development for audio/image/video.
Practical experience building and evaluating neural network models for audio/image/video tasks (e.g., enhancement, restoration, compression related modules).
Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming languages with solid software engineering practices.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Self-driven, collaborative, and outcome-oriented team player.
Comfortable with a hybrid work model and occasional international travel.
