Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Quotation Engineer in Woodlands to craft accurate quotations by analyzing drawings, specs, and customer needs.

You will work with engineering, production, and procurement teams to build cost-effective pricing structures. Responsibilities include preparing detailed cost breakdowns, reviewing RFQs, liaising with suppliers for material pricing, and supporting the sales team with technical pricing insights.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience in cost estimation, quotations, or manufacturing processes preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Full Title:Quotation Engineer

Location: Woodlands

Working days: 5.5 days a week

Working time: 8.30am - 5.30pm; 8.30am - 12.30pm

Salary: $3000 to $4500

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze customer requirements, technical specifications, and drawings to prepare accurate quotations.
• Evaluate material costs, labor, and production processes to determine pricing structures.
• Work closely with engineering, production, and procurement teams to ensure cost effective solutions.
• Review RFQs (Requests for Quotation) and assess feasibility based on manufacturing capabilities.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and pricing proposals for customer approval.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality requirements, and company policies in cost estimation.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements to enhance profitability.
• Maintain and update the quotation database with pricing records and historical data.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing on materials and services.
• Support the sales team by providing technical insights and justifications for pricing decisions.
• Track and follow up on submitted quotations to convert them into orders.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in cost estimation, quotations, or manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software is an advantage
• Experience inreading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering specifications.
