Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Theoretical/Experimental Physics, Software Engineering or Computer Science or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with software development, debugging, and performance analysis.
  • Experience with quantum computing simulation and HPC environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop application software and middleware for quantum computing projects.
  • Refactor, port, and optimize large codebases in Python/C++ on Linux.
  • Develop software drivers for quantum control and calibration workflows.
  • Collaborate across physics and computing teams to share results and improve tooling.
  • Supervise junior team members and contribute to training materials.
