Job summary

SIT invites applications for a research position to deliver on an industry-inspired project focusing on quantum key distribution networks. You will join a collaborative team to design, develop, and evaluate schemes for QKD networks, documenting and publishing results.

Candidates should have a strong background in QKD protocols and relevant engineering degrees, with option for Master/PhD. Strong writing skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering.
• Master's or PhD degree is advantageous.
• Experience with simulation tools (MATLAB, Python) and publishing technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the research project with PI/Co-PI and team to meet deliverables.
• Design, develop and evaluate QKD network solutions across multiple hops.
• Demonstrate functionality of proposed solutions.
