Job summary

The Centre for Quantum Technologies at NTU Singapore invites applications for a Research Fellow to lead experimental work for a neutral-atom quantum processor. You will develop the experiment, handle data acquisition and analysis, and supervise undergraduate and PhD students.

PhD in theoretical physics with quantum specialization is required, with experience in related physics areas and independent collaboration. NTU Singapore offers a vibrant research environment and strong international links.

Qualifications

  • PhD in theoretical physics with quantum focus.
  • Experience or exposure to condensed-matter, AMO, or Rydberg physics.
  • Ability to supervise or mentor students or junior researchers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop numerical twins for digital quantum computer.
  • Map many-body problems to Hamiltonians for experiments.
  • Report weekly to the principal investigator.
  • Supervise and train undergraduate and PhD students.
