Job summary
A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research in Singapore is seeking a highly motivated Scientist to join a new research project focused on fabricating atomically precise dopant-based quantum devices. You will work on developing next-generation quantum hardware technology within a leading research institute. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a relevant discipline and hands-on experience in UHV systems and cleanroom nanofabrication, along with strong analytical and communication skills.
Qualifications
PhD in a relevant discipline is required.
Hands-on experience with UHV systems and cleanroom nanofabrication is preferred.
Proven track record of publications in high-impact journals.
Responsibilities
Design and fabricate atomic-precision quantum devices.
Develop UHV fabrication processes including lithography and crystal growth.
Perform electrical characterization and collaborate with team members.
Document processes and contribute to technical reports.
Skills
Hands-on experience in UHV systems
Cleanroom nanofabrication
Scanning probe lithography
MBE/CVD techniques
Strong analytical skills
Education
PhD in Physics / Applied Physics, Materials Science or Electrical / Electronics Engineering
