Job summary

A civil engineering firm in Singapore is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 5 years in civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will manage tender submissions, perform quantity take-offs, and have sound knowledge in negotiations and cost planning. A degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying/Building is required. You should be meticulous, able to work under pressure, and a good team player. Experience Required

• Minimum 5 years of working experience on civil engineering projects with Main contractor experience preferred
• Experience in government agency’s tender (LTA, PUB, JTC etc)
• Be meticulous, independent, highly motivated, result‑oriented and a good team player
• Be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Sound knowledge of construction and excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills
• Sound computer literacy for MS office
• Quantity taking offs, estimation, cost planning, sourcing sub‑contractors
• Preparation of cost comparison analysis, negotiations with sub‑contractors
• Preparation of tender submissions as required
• Getting involved in post‑tender submission activities
• Updating repository for historical data after tender submission
• Other quantity surveying related duties
• Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying/Building or equipment
