1. Cost Planning & Budget Control
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budget forecasts, and cost plans during all project stages.
- Conduct cost benchmarking and value engineering to ensure project cost efficiency.
- Monitor and track project cost against budget; highlight variances and recommend corrective measures.
2. Tendering & Procurement
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), tender documents, and pricing schedules.
- Evaluate contractor and supplier quotations for accuracy and competitiveness.
- Assist in tender adjudication and recommendation reports.
- Negotiate contract terms, rates, and procurement strategies.
3. Contract Administration
- Manage pre-contract and post-contract documentation (LOA, VO, EOT, RFI).
- Review contractual clauses to ensure compliance with project requirements and governing standards.
- Track and manage variation orders (VOs), applying cost analysis and justifications.
- Ensure adherence to contract terms, conditions, and timelines.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
- At least 1 year of experience in tendering roles.
- Meticulous, detail-oriented.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and a strong team player.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and strong communication abilities.
- Proactive and resourceful in problem-solving.
