Qualifications

• Min 3 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience in Marine Operation, Construction, or similar industry.
• Able to handle full-scope of Quantity Surveying duties including material take-off and variations.
• Able to start work immediately or on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Quantity measurement for various trades including structural and piping works.
• Reconcile materials take off with the client.
• Monitor site changes and compile change proposal registers.
• Prepare and submit change proposals to clients for approval.
• Control project costs related to design changes and manage commercial claims.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and manage contract variances.

Our client is a global leader in Oil & Gas, Marine Offshore Engineering and Fabrication.

• Reporting to Senior Quantity Surveyor Manager

Responsibilities

• Quantity measurement of the following trades:
  -Structural works
  -Piping works
  -Electrical and instrumentation works
  -Mechanical and equipment works
  -Painting works
• Reconcile MTO with the client
• Monitoring changes on-site with production teams. It could be identified in the following:
  -Design drawing changes
  -Site instruction from Client
  -Job Confirmation Sheet from client
  -Identification of Changes (IOC) from Production Team
  -Confirmation of Verbal Instruction (COVI) from Production Team
• Compiling change proposal register
• Preparation & submission of change proposal to Client for approval
• Reconcile with Client on the change proposals submitted
• Project Costs Control:
  -Design drawing changes
  -Monitoring periodically on the increased or decreased in works scope
  -To handle any Commercial Claims (i.e. Extension of Time, disputed claims, etc)
• Contracts Management:
  -To ensure that our works & costs are in-line with the contract
  -Able to identify variance arises in the contract
  -To manage any disputed items

Requirement

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
• Min 3 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience in Marine Operation, Construction or similar industry
• Able to handle full-scope of Quantity Surveying duties which includes material take-off and variations
• Able to start to work immediately or short notice
