Responsibilities

• Assist in cost estimation and future tender exercises.
• Prepare and analyze cost comparisons together with the Senior Quantity Surveyor.
• Liaise and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Prepare and administer tender documents, cost summaries, and price comparisons.
• Ensure accurate measurement of quantities to assist in preparing progress payment claims, variation order claims, and payments to subcontractors and suppliers, including final accounts.
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlements, and sub-contractor payments.
• Certify and evaluate progress work done, including contract administration for variations for both sub-contract and main contract works.
• Be meticulous, analytical, and proactive with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Work effectively as a team player and meet tight deadlines.
• Perform all other QS-related duties and any ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building or equivalent
• 2 years of relevant working experience in main construction companies.
