Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (HDB or Condo Project) (ID4639)
Location: Kaki Bukit
Working Hours: Mon – Fri 9.00am-6.30pm
Salary: $4000-$5500

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of measurement sheets and assistance in quantity take-off.
  • Estimation of direct & indirect costs for subcontract & sublet.
  • Monitoring and recording site progress, keeping day works records.
  • Checks allocation of manpower and productivity; prepares comparison sheets for quotations from suppliers & subcontractors.
  • Preparation of payment advice, review and certification of claim submissions for subcontractors & suppliers.
  • Coordination of claims preparation with the Project Manager/Director.
  • Follow up payments from main contractor/consultant/client.
  • Assist the PD/PM to establish and operate project cost control.
  • Provide advice on contractual claims, VO or other contractual matters.
  • Measure and compute values for variations; prepare interim & final accounts.
  • Provide estimate, computations & work on contractual/technical/project change orders.
  • Prepare monthly progress payments to main contractors/consultant/clients.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Building, Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Computer literate, Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; proficiency in English.
  • Construction background with a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.
  • Strong mathematical and accounting skills.
  • Able to work independently and in teams.
  • Active role with great initiative in project execution to complete tasks on time with optimum resource utilization.
