Job summary

Talent Trader Group Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to manage project cost control, procurement, and contract administration.

You will monitor expenditures, prepare submissions for payments and variations, and support project teams. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Quantity Surveying and has at least four years of relevant experience, with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project expenditures and prepare submissions for progress payments and variation claims.
• Source and appoint contractors and suppliers; evaluate subcontractors’ payment applications.
• Examine contracts for issues, compile final accounts, manage subcontract agreements.
• Assist in compiling claims for extensions of time, cost variations, delays with supporting records.
• Use OA and SAP to track project progress and participate in meetings.

• Project Cost Control & Claims: Monitor project expenditures and prepare submissions for progress payments and variation claims to reflect project milestones and any changes in scope.
• Procurement & Subcontractor Oversight: Source and appoint contractors and suppliers, and evaluate subcontractors’ payment applications to ensure they align with contractual requirements.
• Contract Administration & Final Accounts: Examine contracts for potential issues, compile final accounts, and manage subcontract agreements along with related documentation and communication.
• Claims & Delay Support: Assist supervisors in compiling claims for extensions of time, cost variations, and delays, ensuring all supporting records are complete and accurate.
• Reporting & Coordination: Utilize internal platforms such as OA and SAP to track project progress, and participate in meetings to share updates and provide necessary support.
• Additional Responsibilities: Carry out any other tasks assigned as required.

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Survey or any related fields.
• Minimum 4 years of Quantity Survey experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
