Job summary
A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage the end-to-end tendering process, prepare cost estimates, and liaise with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering, with at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in LTA Projects. Junior QS and fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end tendering process including cost estimates.

Job Description
- Manage the end-to-end tendering process, including reviewing tender documents, preparing cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and tender submissions.
- Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors; prepare recommendations for approval by the Project Director / Managing Director.
- Prepare and issue sub-contract and purchasing documents, and make necessary amendments with proper authorisation.
- Assist in preparing early-stage project budgets and detailed cost plans aligned with client requirements.
- Perform quantity take-offs and site measurements to support accurate cost estimation and documentation.
- Value construction works for interim payments, variation orders, and final accounts; prepare and submit monthly progress claims to clients or consultants.
- Assess and compile claims for variation, loss, and expense; negotiate with stakeholders to achieve timely settlement.
- Prepare final accounts for both clients and subcontractors.
- Analyse cost outcomes and prepare detailed cost and progress reports for management.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, site personnel, and subcontractors on all commercial and contractual matters.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in the related field is required( preferably with LTA Projects)
- Team player
- Well versed in MS Office, Bluebeam, AutoCAD etc
- Self-motivated and be able to work with minimum supervision
