YUECHENG DEVELOPMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor in Singapore to manage project commercial operations, cost controls, and contractual claims.

The role requires close collaboration with project teams to ensure timely progress payments and accurate final accounts. Responsibilities include assisting in tender material purchases, measuring work quantities, evaluating subcontractor claims, and defending monthly progress claims.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of QS experience, with LTA project exposure preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to read construction drawings.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.

Responsabilités

• Assist in purchasing of all project work materials identified in the tender.
• Measure and determine quantities for progress payment requests to clients.
• Check and evaluate progress claims submitted by sub-contractors with Project Manager.
• Assist in settlement of final accounts with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Perform material measurements and tonnage calculations from drawings and shop drawings.
• Prepare, submit, and defend monthly progress claims focusing on fabrication milestones and site delivery.

- Detail-oriented and highly skilled Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience in local landed construction.

To manage project commercial operations, cost controls, and contractual claims.

Job Description

• Assist in purchasing of all project work materials identified in the tender
• Measure and determine the amounts of work done at any stage of the construction so as to prepare periodic progress payment requests for submission to client.
• Check and evaluate the progress claims submitted by the sub-contractors in liaison with Project Manager / designated staff on the work done in terms of quantities and quality.
• Assist in the settlement of final accounts with client, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Perform precise material measurements and tonnage calculations from structural steel drawings, connection details, and shop drawings.
• Prepare, submit, and defend monthly progress claims to Main Contractors, focusing on fabrication milestones, delivery to site, and erection completion.

Job Requirements

• at least 2 years of QS experience, relevant experience in LTA projects if possible
• Able to use AutoCAD
• Salary and performance bonus can be negotiable based on qualifications and experience
• Singapore citizen or PR
• fluent in both English and Mandarin
