We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all cost-related aspects of building and civil engineering projects from the initial estimation and budgeting stage through to final cost reporting and settlement.
You’ll help ensure projects are completed within budget while maintaining compliance with statutory building regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing technical accuracy, financial management, and site coordination in a fast-paced construction environment.
Prepare cost estimates, tender submissions, and bills of quantities based on project drawings and specifications.
Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and variations throughout the project lifecycle.
Evaluate and certify progress claims, subcontractor payments, and variation orders.
Conduct cost analysis, feasibility studies, and value engineering exercises to improve project efficiency.
Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and clients to ensure alignment on cost and contract matters.
Prepare progress reports and cost forecasts to support management decisions.
Ensure all work adheres to local statutory regulations, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
Manage final accounts and documentation at project completion.
Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2–3 years of working experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with at least 2 years in the construction industry.
Strong understanding of construction methods, contract administration, and cost control.
Proficient in MS Office and quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft, or equivalent).
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented, independent, and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
