YENG TONG CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a committed Quantity Surveyor to support tendering, contract administration and cost management on a busy site.

You will work with the project team to prepare tender documents, evaluate quotations, assess progress claims, and assist with variation orders while maintaining project schedules. The role includes standard hours with transportation from Tanah Merah MRT, based at the Changi Site Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.
• 2–3 years of working experience in the construction industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCAD.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and assist in tender submission, including taking off and preparation of tender documents.
• Analyse and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure best terms.
• Assess Subcontractors' Progress Claims and prepare payment responses.
• Assist Contract Managers with assessment of Variation Orders and Extension of Time by Subcontractors.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure all project requirements are met.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management.

Join Our Team – Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for a committed and detail-orientedQuantity Surveyorto join our growing team in the construction industry. If you have experience in tendering, contract administration, and cost management, and enjoy working in a fast-paced project environment, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in tender submission, including taking off, calling for quotations and preparation of tender documents for the submission of tender.

• Analyse and evaluate the received quotations from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure optimal terms

• Assess Subcontractor’s Progress Claims and prepare Payment response within stipulated timeline

• Assist the Contract Managers for assessment of Variation Orders and Extension of Time by Subcontractor and Suppliers including finalization of accounts.

• Collaborate with the project team to ensure that all project requirements are met

• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management.

Requirements

• Possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.

• Efficient, good analytical skills and able to work independently.

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.

• Possess 2-3 years of working experience in the construction industry.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCad.

• Able to start work immediately or within a short notice period.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Alternate Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Free transportation provided from Tanah Merah MRT
• Working Location: Changi Site Office
