A prominent construction firm in Singapore seeks a Quantity Surveyor to assist in both pre-contract and post-contract administration. Key tasks include preparing tenders, managing progress payment claims, and ensuring detailed documentation for projects. Candidates should hold a Degree in Quantity Surveying and have at least 3 years of experience in the construction sector. You will assist the Quantity Surveying Manager in the pre-contract or post-contract and procurement administration. In addition, you will also be involved in budgeting, controlling of cash flow and cost, processing of claims, contract payments, settlement of final accounts and variation orders.

To assist Project Manager in the pre-contract or post-contract of fast-track projects
For the pre-contract role, your job involves evaluation of price comparison and costing summary. You will prepare tenders, measurement and preparation of bills of quantities and quotations for both civil and building projects
For post-contract role, your job involves ensuring accurate measurement of quantities to assist in the preparation of progress payment claims, variation order claims and payments to subcontractors and suppliers including all final accounts. Maintenance of proper documentation of events at site for variation order / Extension of Time (EOT) claims
To participate, work closely and give support to safety team on all initiatives and matters relating to Safety and Health
To comply with the Company Safety Management System and the Workplace Safety & Health Act (WSHA) and its subsidiary legislation
Possess a Degree in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent with minimum 3 years’ of relevant working experience preferably in a main construction firm
Other pre-requisites are to be meticulous, possess good analytical skills, be a team player and be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Knowledge of the market updates, construction cost trend, construction methods and materials will be added advantage
