Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage claims, cost estimates, and procurement processes. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Quantity Surveying or related fields, and at least 3 years of experience in the local building construction industry. Key responsibilities include administrative duties related to contract management, cost evaluations, and collaboration with suppliers and sub-contractors. Responsibilities

  • Administrate progress claims/payments to clients and from suppliers/sub-contractors.
  • Cost estimates, variation order submission, and other QS functions.
  • Update suppliers/sub-contractors account periodically as instructed.
  • Ensure supplier/sub-contractor contract agreements executed.
  • Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off if necessary.
  • Prepare Variation Orders, evaluate and recommend vendor payments.
  • Prepare tender cost submission and quantity take-off.
  • Manage daily procurement and contract requirements.

  • Prepare Variation Orders, evaluate, recommend & settlement of sub-contractor / vendors’ payments claims & final accounts.
  • Prepare tender cost submission / quantity take off / cost evaluation.
  • Manage daily procurement and contract requirements, maintain, monitor and update the procurement database / costing with budget.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned.
