Job summary

A leading Singaporean construction firm is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage progress claims and maintain records for variation orders. The ideal candidate must possess a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Building, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the local building industry. Proactive communication skills in English and Mandarin are essential. This role involves attending meetings and supporting the tender team while completing assigned duties.

• Prepare and follow up on progress claims and progress certification.
• Maintain records and submit all variation orders.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Preparation and following up on progress claims, progress certification, variation orders and settlement of final account with main contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers
• Maintain records, tracking and submission of all variation orders
• Able to work closely with whole tender team and carry out management’s direction
• Attend meetings/ site meetings
• Work closely with teammates
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Able to work under minimal supervision and be meticulous
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Pro‑active, a good team player and able to work well under pressure
• Candidate must possess Diploma/ Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Building
• Minimum 1 years of working experience in local Building industry
• Good communication skills in English and Mandarin (to liaise with mandarin speaking associate)

Salary will be commensurate with qualification and experience
