Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage documents submission, prepare contracts, and perform cost analysis. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Degree in Construction Building, strong contract negotiation skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office. This role involves attending site meetings and providing advice on contractual claims while working independently in a proactive manner.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/ Degree in Constructions Building or its equivalent.
  • Ability in contract negotiation, contract administration and variations orders.
  • Able to work independently, analytical with excellent problem solving skills, proactive.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word.

Responsibilities

  • Familiar with documents submission to relevant government authorities.
  • Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off.
  • Prepare Variation Orders, monthly Progress Claims, final claims.
  • Prepare and submit Material submission form to client for approval.
  • Attend site meeting when necessary.
  • Prepare Tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or client.
  • Perform risk, value management, and cost control.
  • Prepare and analyze costings for tender.
  • Allocate work to subcontractors.
  • Provide advice on contractual claims.
  • Understand the implications of health and safety regulations.
  • Identify, analyze and develop responses to commercial risks.
  • Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
  • All other QS related job.
