A construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs, prepare tenders, and support a team of junior Quantity Surveyors. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Construction Management with at least 5 years of civil engineering experience. Responsibilities include monitoring budgets, ensuring compliance, and effective communication with stakeholders.
Senior Quantity Surveyor, Tender & Contract
(Civil Projects)
Primary Objective
Ability to sources for all the cost estimated for the construction projects and prepares quotations and tenders for projects.
Providing support in the procurement administration of the project and manage project budgeting, controlling of cash flow and cost, processing of claims, contract payment and settlement of final accounts as well as maintaining proper documentation.
Manages a small team of junior Quantity Surveyors.
Equipped with professionalism, to provide support to the project team, maintaining commercial information and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and ensure that the Company’s objectives are achieved. Liaise with customer representatives and other third parties on commercial issues including agreement of variations, claims and any additional payments.
Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related qualifications with experiences in the construction industry.
Minimum 5 years of experiences in civil engineering projects.
Demonstrate a good knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis
Excellent team player whilst also holding the ability to work independently on own initiative
Excellent time management skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines.
Strong follow up & analytics skills
Ability to encourage and support junior members
