Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore seeks a Quantity Surveyor to manage maintenance and material costs, prepare various reports, and liaise with stakeholders. Candidates are required to have at least a diploma or bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is essential. This role involves travel to various sites and ensuring proper documentation for construction projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Possess a diploma or bachelor's degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
  • Preferably experienced candidates specialized in Quantity Surveying.

Responsibilities

  • Scrutinize maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts.
  • Liaise with site supervisors, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, and risk assessments.
  • Advise managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
  • Track materials and order more when required.
  • Document changes in design and update budgets.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.
  • Travel to various sites as required.
  • Prepare cost plans and cost reports for projects.
  • Liaise with contractors on progress payments and variations.
  • Update accounts and ensure proper documentation.
  • Communicate adjustments to cost estimates with management and contractors.
  • Review construction plans and prepare quantity requirements.

Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
  • At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
