Job summary

A Singaporean construction firm is seeking an experienced professional to assist the director at the construction site. Duties include coordinating with subcontractors and engineers, preparing meeting agendas, and conducting quantity takeoffs. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or Civil Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant work experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of working experience in Civil Engineering industry.
• Able to work under minimal supervision and be meticulous.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.

Job Description:

• Need to follow director to the construction site, to reply emails and coordinate with subcontractors, architects and engineers for the director
• Need to attend the meeting and able to do meeting minute.
• Prepare meeting agendas, collate relevant materials, and take accurate minutes to document discussions, action items, and decisions.
• Prepare and follow up sales quotation
• Follow up on action items and deadlines resulting from meetings, ensuring accountability and progress tracking.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned.
• Quantity take off and cost estimation based on technical details, drawings, and specifications
• Able to calculate Variation Order for landed house project
• Sourcing out of quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
• Estimation of quantities, evaluation and cost comparison of sub-contractors’ quotations

Requirements:

• Able to work under minimal supervision and be meticulous
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Pro-active, a good team player and able to work well under pressure
• Candidate must possess Diploma/ Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building or Civil Engineering
• At least 3 years of working experience in Civil Engineering industry.
• Preferably bilingual.
