About the role:

As a Quantitative Researcher/Trader, you will play a key role in developing and implementing trading strategies for Indian options markets. You will leverage your strong technical background in mathematics, statistics, and programming to analyze market data, build models, and optimize trading systems. This role requires a deep understanding of options pricing, market microstructure, and the ability to write clean, efficient code. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will collaborate closely with other researchers, traders, and developers.

What you’ll be working on:
  • Research, develop, and implement quantitative trading strategies for Indian options markets, with a focus on medium-frequency (MFT) and high-frequency trading (HFT).
  • Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities in the market.
  • Build and maintain models for options pricing, risk management, and trade execution.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
  • Collaborate with team members to refine strategies, improve infrastructure, and optimize performance.
  • Monitor live trading systems and make data-driven adjustments to strategies as needed.
  • Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in quantitative finance.
We’d love for you to have:
  • Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or Financial Engineering.
  • Proven experience in Indian options trading, preferably in MFT or HFT environments.
  • Strong understanding of options pricing models (e.g., Black‑Scholes, stochastic volatility models) and market microstructure.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, time series analysis, and machine learning techniques.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
  • Experience with data analysis tools and libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SciPy).
  • Familiarity with database systems and SQL.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
It will be nice for you to have:
  • Experience with backtesting and simulation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of algorithmic trading and execution strategies.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and distributed systems.
What we offer in return:
  • 21 days annual leave
  • An opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, fostering mentorship opportunities and personal growth
  • Comprehensive Insurance Package with extended coverage for dependents
  • Well stocked pantry
  • Annual Dental & Wellness budget
  • Gym membership
  • Competitive compensation
